St. Laurence Names Brian Klinger Head Boys Lacrosse Coach

BURBANK, IL - St. Laurence High School is excited to announce the hiring of alumnus Brian Klinger ‘98 as the school’s new Head Boys Lacrosse Coach.

“We are thrilled to welcome Coach Klinger as our newest boys lacrosse coach,” said St. Laurence Athletic Director Tim Chandler. “On top of his extensive background in coaching lacrosse, we love when alumni return in coaching roles, and we cannot wait for Brian to leave his mark on this program.”

Klinger brings extensive lacrosse knowledge to the Vikings, as he is the the Director and Head Coach of Lemont Indians Lacrosse Club. He also brings high school coaching experience to St. Laurence, having previously served as an assistant lacrosse coach at Lemont High School.

“I am very excited to come back to STL,” said Klinger. “I am looking forward to the opportunity to develop our players’ lacrosse skills, as well as their personal growth as men in our community.”

Coach Klinger will host a summer camp for 5th-8th grade boys on July 22, 24, 29 and 31 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Prospective campers can sign up for the camp by clicking here. Additionally, current lacrosse players (including incoming freshmen) are invited to open workouts at Kavanagh Stadium on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-5:30 p.m. this summer beginning Thursday, July 18th.
